Giving away a brand new Monoprice tablet! It has been opened to see if everything was there and for a quick 5 minute test run (the battery it came with is in the pen already). I liked the tablet but changed my mind - So I’d love to give it a new home to someone who is in need!

RULES

  • You do NOT have to follow me
  • Reblog to enter - likes and multiple reblogs don’t count. Just one. (If you
don’t want the tablet and would like to reblog for signal boost then please say so, when rebloging it, so that I know to exclude you in the final drawing)
  • I will ship anywhere world wide
  • Make sure you ask box is open so I can let you know if you’ve won!
  • Contest ends June 3rd at 11:30pm CST
  • The winner will be picked with a random number generator

Oh yes, I never win those things… but this would be awesome to win… I always wanted to have such a thing!

Been teaching myself how to draw… I’d love a tablet!

((Anyone remember Malconstruction? Well there’s a Recreation version, Miscreation, by the same person (as far as I can tell.) I did not know this. I’ve only just randomly come across it while looking for Malconstruction to listen to.

Roosterteeth confirms that 479er is Voice of Command from season 6 and Recovery one without a doubt now.
I shouldnt be nearly as happy as I am.

((Also confirmed the Meta is actually dead, though, too. It would have been awesome if he came back. Like Carolina led Wash and everyone to this stasis thing and revived him to help kill the Director. Because the meta would really want to kill the Director.))

Hey Roostertumblr! Roosterteeth is running a RvB survey on their site!

Be sure to have plenty of time set aside for answering this because I swear to you, these questions are not easily answered.

IF NORTH DOESN’T WIN BEST FREELANCER I’LL probably…

She stood up alongside Hunt and added, “Alright. You can just pick him up in the morning.” She looked around and smiled. “Thank you Hunt, for everything. I’ll never forget you, I swear.”

There was an extra glistening in Hunt’s eyes as she felt her emotions rising to the surface. “And I, you. You keep out of trouble, alright? And get yourself a communicator so we can keep in touch.” Hunt was concentrating hard so she didn’t choke on her words. “I’d hug you, but…” She gazed down at her daughter.

“It’s nothing. And… I will. I’ll keep in touch as often as I can. Be safe Hunt. I wish your family the best of luck.” She walked towards the entrance of the simulation room, and looked back one more time. “Be sure to come say bye one last time before I leave.” she opened the door and walked out. “I’ll hopefully see you again.”

“I’ll be sure to.” Hunt promised, watching Rhode leave. As soon as she was sure she was gone, Hunt spoke up with a sadness in her tone, “Simulation, log off.” and all colour faded back into grey metal and concrete. She stared about the room one final time, before she, too, left, silence following in her wake.

She stood up alongside Hunt and added, “Alright. You can just pick him up in the morning.” She looked around and smiled. “Thank you Hunt, for everything. I’ll never forget you, I swear.”

She lifted Dakota off of her shoulders and set her down on the ground. “You know Hunt, you’re lucky to have her. She’s beautiful…” She flashed Hunt a small smile. “She going to grow up to be a great woman. I know it.” She looked over at Dakota and sat down next to her. “Who knows, we might even meet again one day.” She chuckled.

“That be nice.” Hunt returned Rhode’s smile, before walking up to her and wrapping a single arm around the younger woman affectionately. “It’ll be quiet without you around, you know.” She glanced at the scene before her and to Dakota who was rolling around in the artificial grass.

“Yeah… And, I’m really going to miss you Hunt.” She chuckled at Dakota and looked over at Hunt. “When I’m gone, don’t forget me, okay? ‘Cause, I know I won’t forget you.. You’ve helped me so much during my time here. Try not to get into too much trouble without me.”

“You know me. I don’t tend to forget things that easily, Karlie. Even if I wanted to.” She let out a sigh that was a mixture of content and sadness at old memories and present times. “And I don’t think Darrow would let me get into trouble, even if I wanted to.”

She pulled away from Rhode, going to sit down on the grass near to her daughter. A simulated breeze blew through the area as she stared at the sun. “It’s been years since I last saw a sunset, real or otherwise.” She patted the ground next to her, indicating for Rhode to join them both.

She got up and sat down next to Hunt, smiling when the cool, artificial breeze hit her. “That’s one of the things I’m looking forward to whenever I get off of here and go to Earth. I can only imagine siting on a beach somewhere, and watching the sun set over the horizon. I might even visit the city my father was born… Chesapeake, Virginia. Right next to the bay. A perfect place to watch that sunset.” She smiled at the thought. She was ready to leave here an start a new life, the only thing she would regret would be leaving Hunt, Ken, and every one of her friends she made on the ship.

“Mmm. I’d like to go back to my roots someday, too.” Hunt nodded. “Huntingdon, United Kingdom. That’s where my ancestors go back to. Long line of them there on my mother’s side. Father’s side came from nearby. Both my grandparents and their familes were good friends. Moved to my homeworld at the same time and established a village named after my ancestral town.”

“It’s sound nice.” She sighed. “You know, I really think I have a chance to be happy once I get off of here. Like this… I really miss this. Living life and not giving a care in the world.” She smiled at Hunt and looked down at Dakota. “I just… I don’t know what’s going to happen to Tau… I hope she’ll be alright.”

Hunt patted Dakota’s head and ruffled her hair as she came to sit in her lap. “When you told the Director you were leaving, and left us with that bombshell… Darrow, he asked about her.” Hunt admitted.

“What’s going to happen to her?” She asked Hunt, her tone sounding a little scared.

“Probably not supposed to tell you this…” Hunt averted her gaze slightly, watching her daughter instead, “But you know what, the Director can suck it after all I’ve had to go through lately.” Her gaze snapped up again, looking a little fierce. “He had planned on giving her to Minnesota…”

“Well… Minnesota is a good soldier. I’m sure Tau will be safe with her.” She looked over at Dakota and then back to Hunt. “I… I should go. I need to finish some last preparations and then I’m gone.”

“Mmm, probably a good idea.” She nodded at Dakota, who was starting to nod off in her arms, before rising to her feet. “I’ll probably go straight back to my quarters. Darrow will probably want to stay with Tau a bit longer anyway.”
